Program Overview:

This program is designed to develop competent physiotherapists who are capable of evaluating and treating patients with movement dysfunctions, physical disabilities, or injuries. It blends theoretical knowledge, hands-on practice, and clinical placements, preparing students to work in a wide range of health care settings. The program emphasizes a patient-centered approach, ethical responsibility, and lifelong learning.


Program Structure:

Years 1–2 (Foundation Phase):

  • Anatomy and Physiology

  • Biomechanics and Kinesiology

  • Introduction to Physiotherapy

  • Medical Biology and Genetics

  • Basic Physics and Chemistry

  • Health Psychology

  • Communication and Professional Ethics

Years 3–4 (Professional and Clinical Phase):

  • Electrotherapy and Therapeutic Modalities

  • Manual Therapy and Therapeutic Exercises

  • Neurological, Orthopedic, Pediatric, and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation

  • Clinical Reasoning and Patient Evaluation

  • Research Methods and Graduation Project

  • Extensive Clinical Practice in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and private clinics

Admission Requirements:

  • High school diploma with strong background in Biology, Physics, and related sciences

  • Proof of English language proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL, or EMU’s English exam

  • Students who don’t meet language requirements may be enrolled in the university’s English Preparatory Program

Graduates are awarded the title of “Physiotherapist” and can work in:
