Course Overview

Program Structure and Curriculum:

• Duration and Credits: The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a four-year, full-time program requiring the completion of 240 ECTS credits. 

• Curriculum: The program integrates basic medical sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and nursing-specific courses. Students engage in theoretical instruction, laboratory work, and clinical practice in various healthcare settings. The curriculum emphasizes a holistic nursing care approach, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 

Language of Instruction:

Courses are offered in both English and Turkish, accommodating a diverse student body. 

Admission Requirements:

• For TRNC Citizens: Admission is based on the Near East University Entrance and Placement exam. 

• For International Students: Applicants are evaluated based on high school credentials and may need to demonstrate English language proficiency through exams like TOEFL or IELTS. 

Accreditation and Recognition:

NEU’s Faculty of Nursing is accredited by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME), enhancing its international recognition. 

Facilities and Clinical Training:

Students benefit from NEU’s robust infrastructure, including two medical faculty hospitals and a dental hospital, providing ample opportunities for practical training and clinical experience.
