Program Overview:
The Faculty of Pharmacy at EMU trains students to become competent, ethical, and knowledgeable pharmacists. The curriculum is structured to cover all aspects of pharmaceutical sciences—from drug formulation to clinical pharmacy and patient counseling.
Students are educated in alignment with international pharmacy education standards, with opportunities for practical experience, research involvement, and professional development through student organizations and exchange programs.
Program Structure:
Years 1–2:

Foundations in biology, chemistry, human anatomy, and pharmaceutical calculations

Introduction to pharmacy practice, ethics, and communication

Lab work in pharmaceutical chemistry and microbiology
Years 3–4:

Advanced courses in pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy, clinical pharmacy, and toxicology

Hospital and community pharmacy orientation

Internship in hospital/community pharmacies or pharmaceutical industries
