Program Overview:

The Nursing program at EMU is designed to train highly qualified, ethical, and compassionate nurses who are capable of delivering holistic, evidence-based care. It integrates theoretical knowledge, clinical experience, and professional development to prepare students for the dynamic field of healthcare.


Program Structure:

Years 1–2 (Foundational Phase):

  • Human Anatomy and Physiology

  • Histology and Embryology

  • Introduction to Nursing

  • Basic Nutrition and Health

  • First Aid and Emergency Care

  • Academic English

  • Health Psychology

  • Communication and Ethics in Healthcare

Years 3–4 (Professional and Clinical Phase):

  • Internal Medicine and Surgical Nursing

  • Pediatric and Maternity Nursing

  • Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing

  • Community Health Nursing

  • Geriatric Nursing and Palliative Care

  • Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice

  • Management and Leadership in Nursing

  • Graduation Thesis or Project

  • Extensive Clinical Rotations in hospitals and health institutions

Admission Requirements:

  • High school diploma with strong grades in Biology, Chemistry, or other science-related subjects

  • English language proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL, or the university’s English placement exam

  • Students needing language support can enroll in EMU’s English Preparatory Program

Graduates are awarded the title of “Nurse” and can pursue careers in:
