Course Overview

Program Structure and Curriculum:

The Biomedical Engineering program spans eight semesters, totaling 279 ECTS credits. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications, covering subjects such as:

• Mathematics and Basic Sciences

• Anatomy and Physiology

• Biomaterials

• Biomedical Instrumentation

• Biomechanics

• Biomedical Imaging

• Biomedical Signal Processing

• Artificial Organs

Students engage in hands-on projects and internships to gain real-world experience.

The program is offered in English, accommodating a diverse international student body. 

Admission Requirements:

Prospective students are required to submit the following documents:

• Original copy of the High School Diploma or equivalent

• Photocopy of a valid passport

• Proof of English language proficiency, if available

• For transfer students: Academic transcript and course descriptions from the previous institution

Tuition Fees and Scholarships:

The annual tuition fee for the Biomedical Engineering program is €5,600. NEU offers a 50% scholarship to eligible students, reducing the annual tuition to €2,800. Additional fees, including VAT and administrative charges, bring the total annual cost to approximately €3,190.
