Course Overview

Program Structure and Curriculum:

The architecture program spans eight semesters and comprises 53 courses, totaling 240 ECTS credits. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications, covering areas such as design theory, visual communication, construction materials, environmental control, and architectural history. Studio-based projects are central to the program, allowing students to apply their learning in practical settings. 

Language of Instruction:

The program is offered in both English and Turkish, catering to a diverse student body. 

Accreditation:

The English-medium architectural education program at NEU has been accredited by the Architectural Accreditation Board (MIAK), reflecting its adherence to quality standards in architectural education. 

Admission Requirements:

Prospective students are required to submit the following documents:

• Original copy of the High School Diploma or its equivalent.

• Photocopy of a valid passport.

• Proof of English language proficiency, if available.

• For transfer students: Academic transcript and course descriptions from the previous institution. 

Tuition Fees and Scholarships:

The annual tuition fee for the architecture program is €5,600. NEU offers a 50% scholarship, reducing the tuition to €2,800 per year. Additional fees include VAT and administrative charges, bringing the total annual cost to approximately €3,190.

Graduates of the architecture program have various career paths available, including roles in architectural firms, design studios, construction companies, or establishing their own practices. Opportunities also exist in related fields such as interior design, urban planning, and landscape architecture. Additionally, graduates may pursue further studies at the master’s or doctoral levels to specialize in specific areas of architecture.
